*Note: Different cell phone carriers have different cell phone prefixes. See following list.
**Note: Some countries have a unique dialing sequence for incoming calls to cell phones. Refer to the Cell Phone Dialing Guide for the country you are calling.

  1. Cell phone numbers in Hong Kong contain seven to eight digits. The first two or three digits are always '91' to '99' or '170' to '179'. Those starting with prefixes in the range of '170' to '179' are seven digits in length, and those starting with prefixes in the range '91' to '99' are eight digits in length. 
  2. When calling a cell phone from within Hong Kong, simply dial the local number.  There is no preceding access code. 
  3. When making an international call to a cell phone in Hong Kong, dial: Hong Kong's country code [852] + cell phone prefix ('91' to '99' or '170' to '179')* + remaining four or six digits of local cell phone number.
