**Note: Some countries have a unique dialing sequence for incoming calls to cell phones. Refer to the Cell Phone Dialing Guide for the country you are calling.

  1. Cell phone numbers in Malaysia contain nine digits. The first two digits are always '10', '11', '12', '13', '16', '17', '18',  or '19' and signify the cellular network to which the number belongs.

    '10' or '11' - Celcom
    '12' - Maxis
    '13' - Emartel
    '16' - Digi 1800
    '17' - Adam
    '18' - Mobikom
    '19' - Celcom

  2. When calling a cell phone from within Malaysia, always dial the Domestic Access Code '0' before the nine-digit number. Do not dial this access code when calling from another country.
  3. When making an international call to a cell phone in Malaysia, dial: Malaysia's country code [60] + cell phone prefix ('10' to '13' or '16' to '19')* + remaining seven digits of local cell phone number.
